In this intervention students will explore what happens to the body and brain during sleep, the benefits and challenges of getting a good night’s sleep and strategies to promote good quality sleep, including where to seek support.

It looks at how our actions can impact other people, problem solving in various situations and how to manage emotions. The SEAL intervention is designed to promote the social and emotional skills that underpin effective learning, positive behaviour, regular attendance, and emotional health and well-being of all who learn. Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) This programme is designed to help young people converse more confidently, even when in less familiar situations, learn about themselves and make friends more easily by being able to relate to their peer and other social experiences. It looks at the triggers for these worries, suggested revision techniques to suit different learning styles, relaxation techniques and creating a routine which will help you to give yourself the best start to each day. All you need is a valid school email address.
HOW TO MICROSOFT OFFICE AND STUDENT TO SLEEP FOR FREE
This is a short-term intervention designed to support our Year 11 students with any stresses they are feeling around their GCSE examinations. Get started with Office 365 for free Students and educators are eligible for Office 365 Education for free, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and now Microsoft Teams, plus additional classroom tools. Through exploring these emotions we will aim to identify some strategies which may help in those instances. It acknowledges that feeling angry and worried about things is very normal, but that sometimes those feelings can become overwhelming. This particular intervention focuses on how to cope when we feel strong, negative emotions. It also looks at the differences between being aggressive, passive and assertive. Throughout the sessions we will discuss the techniques that can help create a more positive communication skills.
In this intervention, students will consider how the way we communicate, through our words and body language, can express our emotions. It will look at creating a healthy routine and how sleep and nutrition can help create a more positive mood. It is designed to challenge any negative thoughts and create a toolkit of strategies that can be used to challenge these thoughts when they arise. Think Good, Feel Good looks at building your confidence and self-esteem.
